3 Signs You're a Male Poacher

3 Signs You're a Male Poacher

You can feel her presence from 20 feet away. Not just by the way she walks or talks, but by your own powerful instinctual sense to know danger is lurking close by.

“Run, Will Robinson! Run!

She could really have any name — Beth, Lisa, Alice, it doesn’t matter. For now, we can just label her “Ms. Male Poacher.” David Buss, a professor of psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, coined the term.

Male poacher (n.): A woman who purposely seeks out men to call their own who are already in committed relationships, partnerships, or even close friendships. See: b*tch.

We use our senses all the time to gather information around us. We walk into a cafeteria and the smell alerts us that it’s almost lunchtime.

We look at our child’s face after school, and we know before he or she speaks if they’ve had a bad day.

The ability to sense things, without really knowing actually, is one of the greatest things we have been gifted with.

After all, humans are at the top of the food chain in the animal kingdom.

Many times we don’t listen to our instincts as much as animals do — and that is when bad things happen.

So back to male poaching…

These women just simply have a fondness for other people’s partners, husbands, boyfriends, lovers, and even ex-boyfriends.

Shocker, right?

No, not really.

The modern women of today have inherited the sexual psychology of their victorious ancestral mothers. They carry with them an attraction or subconscious desire for powerful men who have demonstrated an ability to attract other women.

This type of woman has developed her own special set of tools in the kingdom of life that has evolved into her becoming a hunter/predator.

You know I always talk about how men are the hunters and women the gatherers and that women should ALLOW men to chase — always.

Yada, yada, yada…

Well, in the particular case of ‘male poaching’, it’s the woman who chases — but she chases “taken” men, and she does so with such covert skill and expertise that it’s likened to a well-trained sniper.

She has become the hunter.

For these women, commitments, boundaries, friendships, limitations, and restrictions don’t mean a thing.

They have an inflated sense of alpha female entitlement that pushes them to conquer in order to validate their own exaggerated and insecure egos, continually at the expense of other women, by trying to get your guy.

They actually feel a sadistic type of pleasure that stems from knowing that they can create discomfort for their fellow women. These are women who are villains and ruin the good name of “girl code” through unscrupulous means.

While it’s true that no man can be stolen who doesn’t have their own weakened margins, some men are just too naïve to the well-trained male poacher and wind up falling prey to her ways.

It’s just thievery on its highest level.

Either way, keep your eyes open, your ears alert and always remember… If another Woman steals your Man, there’s no better revenge than letting her keep him.

A man that can be stolen wasn’t a man worth keeping.

Until Next Week…

Love,
Karin
